Visitors from Sacramento
I don’t know why but it feels like forever since I’ve written on here even though it’s been less than a week. This past week has been a long week. I’m not too sure why, maybe it’s because so much has happened? It’s weird how time flies when you’re having fun but a week/year/day goes by slower when things are eventful. Well.. that’s something to sit and think about lol.
So my friends from Sacramento came to visit us. Well, they actually flew up here to see the Eclipse but spent only the eclipse day in Oregon and the rest they spent up here in Washington with us! I love having guests, but sometimes when something is unplanned for, I can’t take days off. This past Saturday I took them around downtown Seattle. We went to get Chowder and took the bus up to Capitol Hill to find Bruce Lee’s grave. I might be a local but I’ve actually never been to Bruce Lee’s grave before. I the general area where it’s at but I didn’t know exactly where it was located so our trip there became a pretty long hike. Not that that was a problem though since the neighborhood in the area is pretty dam nice. Sadly, by the time we made it to the main entrance of the cemetery there was a sign saying that it’s closed until next week. What an anticlimatic moment lol.
After the hike to Bruce Lee’s grave (that we didn’t even get to see), I took them to Capitol Hill and we had some Molly Moon Ice Cream. I got a double scoop this time because I wanted 2 flavors, Stumptown Coffee & Lavender. Both flavors were A M A Z I N G! I’ve always loved their Lavender flavor but this is my first time trying the Stumptown Coffee one and I LOVE IT.
Other places I also took my friends to eat at are Coco 2.0, Oasis Bubble Tea, Looking for Chai and Isarn Thai Soul Kitchen. The nice thing is, they treated me for the most outing so it’s nice not having to spend the extra cash since I’m literally super broke right now lol.
Now that they went home it’s time to sterilize my room and get it ultraclean again. =3= I’m such a germaphobe lol. I might be messy but I absolutely can’t stand dirtiness. (know the difference D:<)
