Greetings August
Happy August! July this year was actually pretty eventful. I already have a few things planned out as we move into August, so I sure hope it’s even more eventful than July!
I finished off my July by finally cleaning my room & bathroom. I was actually exhausted from work and just wanted to relax but…. I just couldn’t feel relaxed in my messy room so I suck it up and clean all the tea mugs from my bedroom, and clean the counter top for the bathroom. IT FEELS SO NICE WHEN EVERYTHING IS CLEAN.
Inspired by the lovely sugarcoatedkiss, I decided to start a bullet journal. I’ve looked at a few bullet journals online, and it reminds me a lot like what I used to do for my work/school planner. So I’m thinking of ditching my work planner and just use my bullet journal instead. I’m using a Moleskine knockoff notebook I got from Daiso ($1.50) and you know what, the quality isn’t so bad haha. The only downside is that the notebook is fairly thin so I doubt I’ll be able to fit the rest of my year in here. I want to see how Bullet Journaling works out for me first before investing in a more pricey notebook. I really hope this work out though, because it looks like a lot of fun to look back to!
Today has been a fairly slow day at work. Our supervisor is out of office.. so one person in my team is taking advantage of that by afking from his desk for hours…(isn’t that a tad bit too much there young man?). Whatever, not my problem. At the end of the day, the numbers will reflect everything… we’ll see how long that can go on for.
I wasn’t so hungry during lunch today but I felt the need to get away from my computer desk… and I’m glad I did. I’ve been craving Bibimbap and guess what? The Bomba Fusion Food Truck was at Westlake Park today so I finally get to satisfy my Bibimbap cravings. If you’ve never tried Bibimbap before, I highly recommend it. It’s usually just sauteed veggies over rice but it’s AMAZING. I mean, you could also add meat on there, but I don’t think it’s needed 😀
I know I say this a lot but, I really want to try document my daily life more often ): things got really busy at work in the past 2 months so I didn’t have time to write much, but I sure hope once everyone new in the team is all crossed train, I’ll get some time to breath and write more. “Why can’t you just write at home?” LMAO good point, I just like writing at work because it’s a good way to kill time >.> ye, I know I’m bad.
